About: Wee Excel has been in Roseville since 1983. Three years ago, 32-year-old Heather Davis, the director of the school, bought it. The school uses a curriculum based on the theory that children learn through doing, said Davis, who has a degree in early childhood education from Central Michigan University. "Each morning, the children have an opportunity to decide something they want to work on that day. Then they do it and then we review it. That recall time helps them in building memory and building skills."

Wee Excel follows the Michigan Early Childhood Standards in our lesson planning. We provide play-based programs. Our qualified lead teachers follow a consistent daily schedule and themed lessons. Children who attend our school find joy in learning through hands-on experiences.
